The 2nd Indigenous Terra Madre in its local avatar International Mei-Ramew was successfully held in Shillong from the 3rd -7th November, 2015. The event saw a gathering of indigenous people from around 60 countries from all over the world.

The Interfaith Center of New York and the New York City Police Department are working to improve public safety for all New Yorkers, with this religious diversity training video for NYPD officers. The video features the voices and perspectives of Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, and Yoruba-Lucumi religious leaders, sharing insights into their faith traditions, as well as their experiences collaborating with the NYPD.

The URI delegation delivers prayers and sacred water from around the world as part of the Interfaith Day of Prayer at the Oceti Sakowin Camp on December 4. URI has a long history of honoring Indigenous traditions, protecting the environment, and creating cultures of peace, justice, and healing for the Earth and all living beings.

If you were to select a colour to represent your faith, what would it be? Yellow, is one colour different religious groups have embraced in Kibera as a show of unity and religious tolerance. The brainchild of a non - governmental organization, Colour in Faith, the initiative preaches cohesion.

Through the peace drums initiative, we used two big drums as symbols of inter faith and inter cultural diversity. These include; a black and the other being white to represent the different races. The peace Drums' Initiative uses art and music as an instrumental tool in bridging the gap among people of different religions.
