Ethan Bodnaruk is a Ph.D. student in Ecological Engineering with a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, having previously worked for the National Nuclear Security Administration. His research involves better understanding and quantifying the benefits of urban forests to human health and urban sustainability. Ethan is a leader in the Religions for Peace North American Interfaith Youth Network, a member of the interspiritual group Community of the Mystic Heart, and is a member the Interfaith Student Council at Syracuse University. He has lived for a year at contemplative Trappist monasteries and lived on the streets with the homeless in California. He’s writing a book tentatively titled Beyond Religion: Science and Spirituality Aligned. He blogs at his website.
