We remember and honor the life and legacy of Marianne LaBarre, a beloved member of the Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry (STM) community, whose leadership and dedication left a lasting impact on the university.

Marianne played an instrumental role in launching the Executive Leadership Program at the Albers School of Business, which later became the foundation for the Leadership MBA. She subsequently brought her expertise and vision to STM, where she helped secure a $1 million grant from the Lilly Endowment to establish a Pastoral Leadership Program, extending opportunities for leadership development to pastors and pastoral leaders.

Marianne's contributions reflect her deep commitment to education, leadership, and service. We remember her with gratitude and celebrate the lasting influence of her work within the Seattle University community and beyond.

A Celebration of Life Ritual will be held for Marianne on November 14, 2026, 11am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 806 NE Alberta, Portland OR.
